临床：临床全面，喜欢钻研疑难杂症，为人和善，对待病人亲切，能够站在病友角度考虑问题，深受病友喜爱。知识面广，对于身体保健和疾病预防方面有自己独到经验。尤其对于疗效不好的全身疼痛、糖尿病腹泻、神经病变及足部溃烂等内分泌疑难疾病善于从中西医不同视角解决患者的痛苦，诊治来自全国各地的疑难问题患者，疗效明显。

科研：发表论文133篇，主参编著作7部；获国家科技进步奖二等奖等国家各级科研奖励5项，发明专利4项；主持包括5项国家自然科学基金在内13项课题。获教育部新世纪优秀人才计划支持，湖南省卫生系统学科带头人和中南大学骨干人才。

教学方面：获中南大学蔡田媗珠奖励基金及联邦医学教育奖励基金优秀教师奖励，中南大学高等教育教学成果一、二等奖、湖南省教学成果三等奖，中南大学湘雅二医院首届“师德师风优秀个人”称号。中南大学教学督导委员。

Ruchun Dai is a professor and chief physician at the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, where he also serves as the Director of the Education Department of Metabolism and Endocrinology and the Deputy Director of the Department of Metabolism and Endocrinology. He holds a M.D. from Central South University and completed his postdoctoral fellowships at Tsinghua University and the University of Michigan. His clinical expertise includes osteoporosis and bone metabolic diseases, diabetic complications, thyroid diseases, and complex endocrine and metabolic disorders. His research focuses on the micro- and nano- structure and function of bone.
